At age 5 I taught myself how to crochet. By age 11, people around the world noticed my crochet abilities both in complexity and speed. I am currently designing my own items, giving back to the community and to my birth country of Ethiopia. I enjoy spreading the love of crochet around the world. I call my business Jonah’s Hands ™️ LLC because every piece of work is touched by my hands.
Roots Ethiopia partners with communities in Ethiopia to turn local ideas into lasting change. They work together to improve schools, educate children, enable livelihoods, and include everyone. Donating to Roots Ethiopia is just one of the ways I like to “give back”. They help families in the region where I was born and that’s very special to me. Leif Linen Blend Crochet Shirt
This Unisex shirt looks great on my brother Leif. I love the retro look. I also made a pink/brown one for my mom and she looks great in it too. I used Hobbii’s Olivin yarn which is a linen blend and Friends Cotton Silk Yarn for the striping. The modified granny stitch is easy and adds great air flow. The yarn is perfect for the draping of this shirt.
